In 2008, Ryan was named one of Rolling Stone magazine’s ‘Top Five Comics to Watch’ and appeared at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs festival. In 2007 he made his national TV debut when he appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham. In 2005 he won Sierra Mist’s ‘America’s Next Great Comic’ Search. In 2006, Ryan was a finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival competition and appeared at HBO’s Las Vegas Comedy Festival as an up-and-coming talent.
